Openssl? Eyaml? Zeyaml =)
I was a bit frustrated with openssl and eyaml recently, and since I don’t want to keep ruby on my Mac, I tried to make a substitute of eyaml with zig. Simple binary that can be cross compiled and go with me anywhere I needed.
I encoded it and tested it. It works quite well with our existing puppet/hiera. Makes my life easier. =)
Name, still not sure. Zeyaml is the default now. I am probably the only one using it anyway. Not urgent. And I need to find time to understand the details from this Claude 1.0 version and write a human v2.0 when newer zig comes out. Could be an interesting zig day project, if I even find the time to go.
